But what are the most common causes of impatient people across the nation, and how does each state stack up?
Surveying 2,838 respondents, we’ve determined the circumstances for what causes impatience and infuriate Americans the most, how long the average person can withstand being left on hold over the phone or live chat, the typical response to frustration, and which states are the most impatient in general.
