Joanna Swash, Group CEO of Moneypenny, has Joined the Forbes Business Council

Joanna Swash, Group CEO of Moneypenny, has been accepted onto the Forbes Business Council, an invitation-only growth and networking community for successful business owners and leaders worldwide.

Joanna was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of her experience. Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honours.

Joanna was recruited as Moneypenny’s first sales person 16 years ago, and is now Group CEO of an international business that has grown to employ more than 1000 people across continents, with £50m turnover in 2020. Moneypenny manages more than 20 million customer communications for over 21,000 businesses in the UK and the US, providing Live Chat, Telephone Answering Services and Digital and Outsourced Switchboards and has made several acquisitions both in the UK and the US.

“We are honored to welcome Joanna into the community,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, the collective that includes Forbes Business Council. “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”

As an accepted member of the Council, Joanna has access to a variety of exclusive opportunities designed to help her extend her professional influence. She will connect and collaborate with other respected local leaders in a private forum and at members-only events and will also be invited to work with a professional editorial team to share her expert insights in original business articles on Forbes.com, and to contribute to published Q&A panels alongside other experts.

Joanna Swash commented: “I am thrilled to be invited to join the Forbes Business Council as I have been a fan of Forbes throughout my career.  I look forward to being able to actively support other business leaders and to pass on my knowledge gained from running a fast-growing 1,000 strong UK/US business.”
